COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Nikki Haley is launching a bus tour before South Carolina's Republican presidential primary on Feb. 24, hoping the two-week push will show the former governor's commitment to her home state heading into the first-in-the-South vote. Haley's bus tour kicks off Saturday, with its first stops planned in Newberry, Greenwood, Lexington and Orangeburg counties. The tour is aiming to ramp up interest in South Carolina's early-voting period, which begins Monday, according to Haley's campaign. It's also a complement to her repeated critiques of Trump for not spending time in the state, as she's crisscrossed it, holding nearly a dozen campaign events across South Carolina in the past two weeks. She's poked fun at Trump for declining to debate her, a tack also taken by a super political action committee supporting her bid.

Read previewBryce Dallas Howard debunked the theory that Taylor Swift wrote the new spy thriller "Argylle." "But he had no idea of this rumor until his daughter ran into his room and was like 'Why didn't you tell me that Taylor Swift wrote 'Argylle'? "It's really, really, really bizarre, but a huge honor to have any association whatsoever with Taylor Swift," the actor added. Vaughn also addressed the rumor at the film's London premiere, telling Variety: "It's not Taylor Swift, but books do not write themselves. I am begging Elly Conway to come out of the shadows because this Taylor Swift thing freaked me out.

Kellyanne Conway and Hope Hicks have met with prosecutors probing a 2016 Trump hush money payment. Both could directly link Trump to the payment, federal prosecutors have said in the past. Hicks, Trump's 2016 campaign press secretary and later his White House communications director, was seen Monday afternoon arriving at a lower Manhattan office building used in the DA's investigation, the Associated Press reported. Conway, Trump's campaign manager turned senior advisor, likewise met with the DA on Wednesday, the New York Times reported. But both Hicks and Conway were implicated in documents from the time as being aware of the payments to Daniels.
George Conway said the GOP has a "terrible choice" with regards to Donald Trump. The GOP can let Trump "self-destruct" or mount a one-on-one challenge to him, Conway said. That's because a split race would result in Trump winning the presidential primary even with "30 or 40%" of the vote, Conway added. "They have to fight Trump or let him self-destruct, but they're gonna be in the blast radius. It's just a terrible, terrible choice that the Republican Party faces."
